This “Something @ the Park” (SATP) event draws community leaders to East Austin to engage underserved youth and take part in bringing families and communities together. The goal of this event is to support impoverished children and bridge gaps in service for Austin area youth, families and communities while giving voice and life to their dreams.
Each year, SATP aids hundreds of children by providing them the proper tools to start a successful school year.
The DREAM Out Loud Experience is currently asking for both financial contributions and school supply donations that would be tremendously helpful in providing 1000+ backpacks filled with school supplies to distribute to youth during this year’s event.
So whether your contribution be school supplies, finances for supplies, your presence at the event or even any ideas or network connections will help. Not only do these contributions bring joy to children, but truly do equip them for learning, and promotes confidence that they too can achieve academically.

The event this year will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Turning Roberts Recreation Center located at 7201 Colony Loop., Austin, Texas 78724.
